Description: In this topic you will learn how to resend notifications. When you send a message the recipient will receive a notification. The notification can be viewed in the DCI messaging center, email (the email address associated with the user profile), and SMS text (if the user opted in to receive notifications). Notifications can be resent to the recipient as a reminder to read the message.

*Please note: The message status must be in unread to resend the notification. Resend message notifications feature is not available in the mobile app. Alternatively, you can reply to your original message, creating a new notification to the recipient you are messaging for the mobile app and for messages in a read status.

Resend Notification - Web Portal:

  1. Log in to your personal profile

  2. Click the envelope icon on the main menu

  3. Click See All Messages to open the inbox

  4. Click Sent from the submenu to open sent messages

  5. Click on the message to open and view message details

    1. To resend the notification the message must be in unread status

      1. The recipient name will be highlighted in red if the status of the message is unread

      2. The recipient name will be highlighted in green if the status of the message is read

  6. Click the Actions button

  7. Select Resend Notification from the actions dropdown

  8. Checkbox next to the recipient name(s) to whom you want to resend the notification

  9. Click Resend


Resend Notification - Mobile Web:

To access your mailbox, click the mail icon in the top right corner. If you have any unread messages, a red dot with the number of unread messages will appear on the icon.

  • Recent unread messages will appear when you click the mail icon. Click on one to go directly to the message.
  • Click “Compose Message” to send a new message.
  • Click “See All Messages” to go to your inbox.

Sent messages can be found in the sent tab. Messages that have been read will have a status of “Read” and the recipient name will be highlighted green. Unread messages will have a status of “Delivered” and the recipient name will be highlighted red. Notifications can be sent to the recipient as a reminder to read the message. To resend a notification:

  1. From the Inbox or Sent Tab, click the message to open Message Details
  2. Click Actions, then Resend Notification
  3. Select the recipient(s) to resend the notification to, then click Resend

Mobile Version

Sent messages can be found in the sent tab. Messages that have been read will have a status of “Read” and the recipient name will be highlighted green. Unread messages will have a status of “Delivered” and the recipient name will be highlighted red. Notifications can be sent to the recipient as a reminder to read the message.   2. Click the Menu Icon (three horizontal lines also known as the hamburger menu) on the main menu

  3. Click Message to expand the Message Center tabs

  4. Select Sent to open sent messages

  5. Click on the message to open and view message details

  6. Click the Resend Icon (represented by a right-facing curved arrow)
