Description: In this topic you , the user will learn about EVV Locations functionality is a way to EVV locations functionality. EVV locations specify and record approved work locations per electronic visit verification requirements. EVV locations may be required for hourly punch entries and can be used for group services, residential and parenting programs, and day programs. EVV locations can be manually inputted or imported.
*Please note: To require EVV locations at clock in and clock out, enable the setting Require EVV Locations on the service code for hourly account types Electronic Visit Verification requirements. This guide will outline how to manage, select, and review EVV Locations.

Managing EVV Locations

Select Add New (profile type) (Client, Employee, Group Service, Residential Programs, Day Programs, or Parenting Programs)
Complete the form wizard
The phone number will be associated with the EVV location.
When using the IVR phone system to create a punch entry the system will associate the EVV location linked to the phone number.
If no phone number is listed the user will be prompted to make a selection.
The phone number listed on the EVV location for a client must be unique
Must be the client's landline for EVV compliance (connected to the location)
DCI does not offer phone number verification. However, if the organization has verified that the phone is a landline number, it may be marked as verified. This field is used for reporting purposes only.
This list is configurable via Settings > Custom Dropdowns. Examples might include landline, mobile, apple, android, etc.

Phone Verified - Click Yes if the phone number has been verified. Select No if it has not.

Begin Date is a required field
End Date is an optional field. If no end date is selected, the EVV location will always be available.
Status
Check the Primary checkbox if this is the location that should auto-populate on the new entry form wizard. Only one location can be primary.
Click Save and Yes to confirm
The system will verify the EVV Location is a valid address. If it is not, the error will read, “Google Maps does not recognize this Location Address.” Enter a valid address to continue. If it is a valid address, select Yes to confirm.
To view the EVV location details click the EVV Locations tab on the profile details page
Addan EVV Location to an Existing Profile
Log in to an appropriate profile
Click Home on the main menu
Click the desired profile type from the submenu (Client, Employee, Group Service, Residential Programs, Day Programs, or Parenting Programs)
Use filters to locate the profile and click Search
Click anywhere on the profile row to open the details page
Click Actions
Select New EVV Location

Service Code with EVV Locations
Create a new service code with EVV Locations.
- Login to a profile with the appropriate role and/or permission via the DCI website
- Click Settings from the main menu then Funding Sources from the sub menu
- Choose the Funding Source where you would like to create a new Service Code for
- Click Actions
- Click New Service Code
- To enable EVV locations:
- Fill out all required fields per usual
- For EVV Required click Yes
- Click Save then select Yes on the confirmation window
Edit an existing Service Code to comply with EVV
- Login to a profile with the appropriate role and/or permission via the DCI website
- Click Settings from the main menu then Funding Sources from the sub menu
- Choose the Funding Source where you would like to edit the Service Code for
- Scroll down and click on the service code you with to edit to open the Service Code Details screen
- Click Actions then click Edit Service Code
- Verify the toggle button next to EVV Required is set to Yes
- Click Save then click Yes on the confirmation window
* The supervisor will set the EVV frequency on the Service Account. EVV Location will be required at Clock Out or Clock In/Out, depending on EVV frequency setting. EVV Location will not be required at interval check-ins.

- Click Save then click Yes on the confirmation window
