Description: In  In this topic you , users will learn how to create, view or , edit, or deactivate funding accounts. A Client Funding Account client funding account is a ledger or bucket ledger where client authorizations, attendance, employee service and billing entries are placed.A  A client must have an active client funding account in order to have service accounts created for that particular service.The  The different types of Funding Accounts funding accounts are:

  • Hourly (Units or Dollars) 

  • Residential Program  

  • Day Program  

  • Group Service  

  • Parenting Program  

  • Transportation (for Day Program)  

  • Client Transportation (for employees who are eligible for client transportation mileage reimbursement)

  • Vendor 

Role Required:Superuser Super User, Billing Team, Authorization

Permission Required: Authorization Admin

Create Funding Account

  1. Log in to DCI with your personal profile

  2. Select Select Authorization from  from the main menu

  3. Select Select Funding Accounts from  from the submenu

  4. The funding accounts page will open up

  5. Select the Actions buttonClick Actions

  6. Select the  Add New Funding Account in the actions dropdown from the drop-down menu

  7. Complete Fill out the fields in the Add New Funding Account Accounts form wizard

  8. Click the Save button

  9. Select Yes in the confirmation alert window to save and create funding account

  1. Click Save and Yes to confirm

View, Edit, or Deactivate Funding Account

  1. Log in to DCI with your personal profile

  2. Select Select Authorization from  from the main menu

  3. Select Select Funding Accounts from  from the submenu

  4. View all Funding Accounts listed below the search box

  5. Search for a Funding Account in the search box by client name, service code, units, cost center or status

  6. Select Search and view the search results below the search box

  7. Select the row of the Funding Account to view or edit by clicking anywhere in the row

  8. The Funding Account Details page will open up, view funding account details

  9. Select the Actions button

  10. Use the filters to refine and click Search

  11. Click anywhere in the funding account row to open the account details

  12. Click Actions 

  13. Select Edit Account from the drop-down menuSelect the Edit Account in the actions dropdown

  14. View or make edits in the Funding Edit Account form wizard

    1. To deactivate the funding account, change the status to to Inactive.

  15. Click the Save button

  16. Select Yes in the confirmation alert window to save changes made to the funding accountClick Save and Yes to confirm
