What’s the difference between Service Provider Mode and Fiscal Intermediary Mode?

DCI is designed to accommodate both Service Providers and Fiscal Intermediaries through two modes, commonly referred to as SP Mode mode and FI Modemode. Each customer works out of organization will use the mode that applies to thembest fits the needs of their company. If an organization acts as runs both a Service Provider and Fiscal Intermediaryservice provider and fiscal intermediary, they might may have two instances of DCI.
