DCI is designed to accommodate both Service Providers and Fiscal Intermediaries through two modes, commonly referred to as SP mode and FI mode. Each organization will use the mode that best fits the needs of their company. If an organization runs both a service provider and fiscal intermediary, they may have two instances of DCI. In the DCI Help Center all articles are applicable for both modes, except the articles listed under Fiscal Intermediary - FI Mode.
