Description: In this topic you , the user will learn how to create, view, edit, view or deactivate client service accounts. For programs, in order for attendance to be generated for clients, there must be an active service account linking the client to the program in which they are enrolled in. Client Service Accounts  service accounts are not required for Hourly Services hourly services.

*Please note:  This  This task requires Supervisor Role  a supervisor role in the same Cost Center  cost center as the client. If the client has a home Cost Center that  cost center for which the supervisor does not have a Supervisor Role for, the Home Cost Center supervisor needs to  supervisor role, the home cost center supervisor must create the service account from the Client Details Page client details page.

Role Required: Superuser Super User, Supervisor

Permission Required: N/A

Required Entities Before Creation:

  • Cost Center

  • Funding Source

  • Service Code

  • Client Funding Account

Create Client Service Accounts:

  • Program Profile or Employee Profile (depending on the type of account)

Create a Client Service Account

  1. Log into DCI personal profile

  2. Click Home on

  3. Sign into your Personal Profile

  4. Click Home on the main menuClick 

  5. Click Clients on  on the submenu

  6. Search for the client by typing their name in Type Client Name and selecting their name when it comes up

  7. Click Search

  8. Enter the client's name in the filter and click Search

  9. Click Select the client from the table by clicking anywhere in the row

  10. This will open up the

  14. Click Click Actions buttonClick 

  15. Select New Service Account. from the actions dropdown

  16. Fill out the form wizard

  17. Click Save

  18. Click Yes on the confirmation window

  1. Complete the form wizard in the same manner as an Employee Service Account. When creating a Client Service Account, the following account types are available:

    1. Hourly

    2. Residential Program

    3. Day Program

    4. Group Service

    5. Parenting Program

    6. Transportation

    7. Client Transportation

  2. Click Save to continue and Yes to confirm

  4. Search for the program by typing the name in field "Type (Program) Name" , and selecting it when it comes up

  5. Click Search

  6. Select the program from the table by clicking Click anywhere in the row to select the program

  7. Click Actions button

  8. ClickSelect New Client Service Account from the actions dropdowndrop-down menu

  9. Complete Fill out the form wizard

  10. Click SaveClick and Yes on the confirmation windowto confirm

  8. Scroll down and click on Accounts tab located under the Basic Demographics

  9. Select the account by clicking anywhere in the row

  10. The Accounts Details page will open up and display account details for the user to view

  11. Click Actions button

  12. Select Edit Account

  13. Edit the form wizard as necessary

  14. Enter the client's name in the filter and click Search

  15. Click anywhere in the client row to open the Client Details page

  16. Click the Accounts tab

  17. Click anywhere in the client service account row to open the Account Details page

  18. Click Actions

  19. Select Edit Account from the drop-down menu

  20. View and make edits in the Edit Account form wizard

  21. To deactivate the service account, change the status to Inactive
    1. Client service accounts should be deactivated when the client discontinues the service (i.e., the client is discharged)

  8. Scroll down and click on Accounts tab located under the Cost Center or (Type of Program) Program Details

  9. Select the account by clicking anywhere in the row

  10. The Accounts Details page will open up and display account details for the user to view

  11. Click Actions button

  12. Select Edit Account

  13. Enter the cost center or program in the filter and click Search

  14. Click anywhere in the row to select the cost center or program

  15. Click the Accounts tab

  16. Click anywhere in the client service account row to open the Account Details page

  17. Click Actions

  18. Select Edit Account from the drop-down menu
