Mobile App
The most common place to add an attachment is at clock out on a shift in the mobile app. Employees use this feature to take a picture that they would like to include in their visit. For example, an employee might want to attach a receipt using this method. Another place that an attachment can be added in the mobile app is through the messaging module.
Whether you want to add an attachment to a clock out or to a message, follow these instructions when you get to the Add Attachment option.
When arrived at the Add Attachment option, click Add Attachment.
You are logged onto DCI with your personal profile and the element that you would like to add an attachment to.
Click Add Attachment
A system alert will display the following, "All Allow DCI EVV to take pictures and record video?"
Click Click Don't Allow to to cancel adding an attachment
The response options are: While While using the app, Only Only this time, Don Don't allow
Click Select While using the app or or Only this time
The device camera will open on your smart device.
Click the Camera icon to take the picture
Click the Check icon to
accept the picture
To
retake Click the picture click the Refresh icon .To cancel taking a to retake the picture
Click picture click the X icon .
Click Confirm to validate the picture and add attachment.
to delete the picture
Click Confirm to validate the picture
Continue to clock outComplete and save per your normal process.
Add an Attachment at Time Entry through the Web Portal
Click the blue Add Entry button on the dashboard to open the form wizard
Locate the Attachment
You are logged onto DCI with your personal profile and the Add New Entry form wizard is open.
Find the Attachments field at the bottom of the form wizard.
Click the Add Attachment Choose File
The file explorer will open
Find your file in the folders and subfolders within the library or folder you're viewing.
You can also enter search terms to narrow results.

Double-click the file to be attached or select it and click Open
Only one attachment can be uploaded
The upload is now complete, and the file will display below the AttachmentsAttachment field.
You can only add one attachment.
Click the blue blue Minus (-) button sign to remove the attachment.
Complete and save the entry per your normal process.Click Save and Yes to confirm
