Description: In this topic you will learn how to set up notifications for DCI. Notifications are system generated and inform the user of system events, for example if a punch was approved or rejected. Notifications are setup by the system administrator and the notifications are sent to the user email and/or as a text to the users mobile number. Notifications are automatically sent to the email address listed on your personal profile, you can change your email address at any time. Notifications can be sent via SMS text message when the user verifies their mobile number.
*Please note: If no mobile number is verified, you will not receive text message notifications.

Change Email Address on Your Personal Profile:
Log in to your personal profile
Click your Profile Icon on the main menu in the upper right hand corner
Click Settings from the profile icon dropdown
Click Change Email on the submenu
Enter new email address in New Email and Confirm Email fields
Click Change Email
Click Yes on the confirmation alert window
Verify Mobile Number to Receive SMS Text Message Notifications:
Log in to your personal profile
Click your Profile Icon on the main menu in the upper right hand corner
Click Settings from the profile icon dropdown
Click Verify Mobile on the submenu
If you have already verified your mobile number a green banner will appear with the alert, Your Mobile Number is already Verified.
Enter your mobile number in the Mobile field
Click Update Mobile Number
A green banner will appear with the alert, Your Mobile Number is updated. Please verify mobile number.
Click Send Verification Code
A green banner will appear with the alert, Your Verification Code is sent. Please check your registered Mobile Number.
You will receive a verification code vis SMS text message, enter the verification code into the Verification Code field
Click Verify Mobile
Your mobile number is now verified and will receive SMS text message notifications
