Description: In this topic you will learn how to create and update service codes to allow reimbursements. Reimbursements are a function that allows approved employees and client profiles the ability to submit payments made for reimbursement, per a client’s authorization. Reimbursements can only be created for dollar-based hourly service codes that allow them.

Role Required: Super User

Permission Required: Funding Source Admin

FI Mode Only

Create a New Service Code to Allow Reimbursements:

  1. Log in with appropriate profile

  2. Select Settings from the main menu

  3. Select Funding Sources from the sub menu

  4. Select Actions button

  5. Select the Add New Service Code from the actions dropdown

  6. Complete the form wizard

    1. Select Yes for the radio button for Allow Reimbursements

      1. Please note: Account type must be hourly and funding type must be dollars for allow reimbursements to be shown as an option

  7. Click Save

  8. Click Yes in the confirmation alert window.


Update Existing Service Code to Allow Reimbursements

  1. Log in with appropriate profile

  2. Select Settings from the main menu

  3. Select Funding Sources from the submenu

  4. Use filters to search for funding source and select the Search button

  5. Click anywhere in the Funding Source row to open details page

  6. Use filters under the Service Codes tab to search for desired service code

  7. Click anywhere in the Service Code row to open details page

  8. Click Actions button

  9. Click Edit Service Code from the actions dropdown

  10. Change radio button for Allow Reimbursements to Yes

    1. Please note: Account type must be hourly and funding type must be dollars for allow reimbursements to be shown as an option

  11. Click Save

  12. Click Yes in the confirmation alert window
