Description: In this topic you will learn how to renew an authorization. When an existing authorization expires and you receive the a new authorization for the same Client Funding Account, you should “Renew Authorization”  Renew Authorization instead of creating a new authorization. New authorizations should be created when there is a new service, which also requires a new Client Funding Account.

Renew an authorization

1. Log in to DCI with your personal profile.

2. Click the Authorization from the main menu.

3. Click the Authorization tab the sub menu.

4. Fill in the Client Name and Service Code filters on the Authorizations screen and click

1. Click anywhere on the authorization to open the Authorization Details screen.

2. Click Actions.

3. Click Renew Authorization.

1. Fill in all editable fields on the Renew Authorization Form, which include the new date, balance and max information.

2. Click Save.

3. Click Yes on the confirmation window
