Description: In this topic you will learn how to set your clients or employees preferred language. The DCI system is equipped with multi-language functionality for base users (Employee Profiles with no roles/permissions) and Client Profiles. This functionality allows for users with these profile types to navigate the Portal and the Mobile App in their preferred language. DCI can also send Messages and Notifications and offer Phone EVV in the users preferred language. Currently DCI does not have preferred language functionality available for custom fields, custom dropdowns, reason codes, and canned statements.

The following languages are currently available:

  • English

  • Spanish

  • Vietnamese

  • Russian

  • Mandarin

  • Somali

  • Arabic

*Please note: The functionality requires an instance level setting to be turned on, contact your DCI representative for assistance.

Role Required: Superuser, Supervisor, Employer

Permission Required: Employee Admin, Client Admin

Setting the Preferred Language on behalf a existing Client/Employee Profile

  1. Log in to DCI
  2. Select the Home tab on the main menu
  3. Select Employees or Clients from the submenu
  4. Search for the employee or client using the filters in the search box then select Search button
  5. Click anywhere in the row of the employee or client in the table below the search box to select the employee or client
  6. The employee or client profile details page will open up
  7. Select the Actions button
  8. Select Edit Employee or Edit Client from the Actions dropdown
  9. Select the Employee Information or Client Information tab in the from wizard
  10. Select the Preferred Language from the drop down
  11. Select Save
  12. Select Yes on the confirmation alert window

Changing the Preferred Language on behalf of an new Client/Employee Profile

  1. Log in to DCI
  2. Select the Home tab on the main menu
  3. Select Employees or Clients from the submenu
  4. Select the Actions button
  5. Select Add New Employee or Add New Client from the Actions dropdown
  6. Fill out the form wizard
    1. On the Employee Information or Client Information tab in the from wizard select the Preferred Language from the drop down
  7. Select Save
  8. Select Yes on the confirmation alert window
