Description: In this topic you will learn how to activate your DCI user profile.

  1. When the user's DCI account is created the DCI system will generate an email for you to activate your profile
  2. Locate the email sent by the system to activate your profile (the sender email will be support@dcisoftware.com)
    1. Please check your spam box if the email is not received in the your inbox
  3. Select the Activate Your Profile button in the email
    1. Please note: The Activate Your Profile or Reset Password button link will only be active for a specific amount of time (typically 24 hours), the amount of time is based on the users company security policies
    2. After clicking the Activate Your Profile button in the email, if the link is inactive, an alert will appear "Invalid Token. Please contact your DCI administrator." Select the Resend the email button and proceed back to step 2.
  4. The Authenticate Password page will open up. Enter your temporary password and select the Authenticate button.
    1. The temporary password should be communicated to the user based on individual company procedures
  5. The Update Password page will open up. Enter your new password into both of the fields (Please enter new password and Please confirm password) and select the Update Password button.
  6. Password Criteria
  7. Must be at least 10 characters
  8. Must contain 1 uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters
  9. Must not contain more than two repeated characters in a row
  10. The password should be different from the 3 previous passwords
  11. An alert box will appear, select Yes to confirm wanting to update the password
  12. The DCI profile login page will open up. Enter your login credentials (username/email and password) and select the Sign In button.
  13. The update security details page will open up. The user will be prompted to select a Security Question and type Security Answer. Select the Save button.
  14. The security question and answer will be used as an option to verify if the user selects the Forgot Password link to reset their password
  15. Security questions are case sensitive
  16. The user will now be logged into their DCI profile
