Description: In this topic, the user will learn how to use the scheduling module as a guardian.
This useful tool allows guardians to:
View all shifts for all clients, for multiple employees and programs.
Request services for a client
Receive notifications when changes are made to the schedule

View Client Schedules - Web Portal
Client schedules can be viewed when your coordinator has published them.
- Log in to your guardian profile
- Click Home on the main menu
- Click Clients on the submenu
- Search for the client by using the search filters and clicking search
- Click anywhere on the row of the client to open the Client Details screen
- On the Client Details screen, scroll down and click the Schedule tab
- View the client's schedule
Schedule Details
The scheduling module displays the current week’s schedule listed by employee or program for all active service accounts
To view a different week, use the arrows or the calendar icon
View the schedule for Today, by Day or by Week
To see a detailed view of the current day’s scheduled shifts click “Today”
Each shift will display the start and end time, total hours, and service provided
Scheduled Shifts (published) will appear in light blue
Offered Shifts will appear in yellow
Requested Shifts will appear in orange
Click the Printer icon to print your schedule in a calendar or list format
View Schedule - Mobile App
When the schedule has been created and published, it will be viewable.
- Log in to your personal profile
- Click the Menu icon, (hamburger menu) in the upper left corner
- Click Clients on the menu
- Select the client by clicking anywhere on the row
- Click Schedules
- View the client's schedule
Request Services
If you want to receive services on a particular day, you can submit a request for services using DCI.
- Log in to your personal profile
- Click Home on the main menu
- Click Clients on the submenu
- Search for the client by using the search filters and clicking search
- Click anywhere on the row of the client to open the Client Details screen
- On the Client Details screen, scroll down and click the Schedule tab
- Click Actions button
- Click Add New Client Request in the actions dropdown
- Complete the request form wizard
- Select the date
- Start time
- End time
- Service
- Employee
- Please note that if the employee is unavailable, your coordinator might schedule a different employee
- Click Save
- Click Yes on the confirmation alert window
- The request will appear on your schedule in pending status and has been sent to your coordinator for review
- If the request is approved, the shift will appear blue on your schedule
- If it is rejected, it will no longer appear and your coordinator will provide you details as to why it was rejected
- If you would like to cancel your request, please contact your coordinator
- You may receive a notification when your request has been approved or rejected
